Arbaaz Khan was born on 4 August 1967 to famous screenwriter Salim Khan and his mother Sushila Charak. His stepmother Helen is bollywood actor and dancer. Arbaaz Khan is the brother of Salman Khan with whom he went to ScIndia School in Gwalior and the actor producer Sohail Khan. Alvira Khan Agnihotri is his sister and Atul Agnihotri is his brother in law.

Arbaaz is known for his work in bollywood. In the year 1996, he made debut with Daraar for which he received Filmfare Best Villain Award. In his debut movie, he played the character of a psycho possessive husband. Despite his good performance in first movie, he could not do well in solo films. He has acted in many multi starrer hit films including Pyaar Kiya to Darna Kya (1998) and Garv: Pride and Honour (2004) in which he acted opposite to his brother Salman Khan. In the film Qayamat: City Under Threat (2003) he played a villainous role.

He also did supporting roles in the 2004 comedy film Hulchul which was directed by Priyadarshan, then Malamaal Weekly and Bhagam Bhag in 2006. He was not successful in the lead role, he played supporting roles in the multi starrer “Shootout at Lokhandwala” and “Fool and Final” in 2007.

Arbaaz Khan has also appeared in television  serial Karishma- The Miracles of Destiny in 2003. He hosted a TV show “Power Couple” which was aired on Sony TV, along with his that time wife Malaika Arora Khan. He was also the judge of comedy show “Comedy Circus. He also acted in Chiranjeevi starrer Telugu film, Jai Chiranjeeva. After a normal career in acting, Arbaaz stepped into production. In 2010, he started production company named Arbaaz Khan Productions and gave a blockbuster movie Dabangg in month of September of same year. He also acted in Dabangg and played the role of Salman Khan’s brother (lead actor of Dabangg). That time his wife Malaika Arora Khan gave an item song “Munni Badnaam”. Arbaaz made directorial debut with Dabangg 2 in 2012 which was also a blockbuster.

Arbaaz Khan and Malaika got married in 1998. They have a son Arhaan. Both of them announced separation in 2016 and finally divorced in 2017.

In 2018, Arbaaz confessed to police that he has been betting on IPL (Indian Premier League) cricket matches since last five years. 

Arbaaz is going to act in the upcoming Dabangg Series, Dabangg 3. He will also co-produce the movie with Salman Khan and Nikhil Dwivedi which is going to release on 20 December 2019.
