Today, Bollywood is celebrating the birthday of all time Mr. Khiladi, Akshay Kumar. Akshay is celebrating his 52nd birthday.

 

Devotee Bollywood Bang Bang (DB3) wishes Akshay Kumar a very happy birthday.

He is known for his discipline, fitness and the actor who never gets tired. Currently, Akshay is one of the actors who give 3-4 movies in a year to their audience. He started his career at the beginning of the 1990s and has come up with more than 100 movies till now. His debut movie was “Saugandh” in 1991 and continued to give blockbusters.

Rajiv Bhatia aka Akshay Kumar has won National Film Award for best actor in 2017 for the movie Rustom (2016) and 2 Filmfare awards for “Ajnabee” and “Garam Masala”. In 2009, he was awarded the Padma Shri for his distinguished service.

  1. Akki changed his name from Rajiv Bhatia to Akshay after a movie “Aaj” in 1987.
  2. He worked as a chef and waiter in the restaurants of Bangkok, Thailand before starting a career in acting.
  3. He started modeling because once he earned more than his monthly salary within 2 days of a photo shoot.
  4. There was a time when he went through bad phase in this acting career. He acted in continuously 16 flop movies.  

On his birthday, Akki tweeted about his upcoming movie named “Prithviraj” with its teaser. Prithviraj will be released on 13th November this year which is based on the legend Prithviraj Chauhan who is known for his valor. It will be produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
